Love heart necklace with garnet and roses

Heart shaped garnet-set charm on a heavy silver fob chain. This necklace has a lovely weight to it. A rose bush pattern adorns front and back.

The stone is a blood-red 7 mm cabochon garnet.

Garnet is the birthstone for January and the stone that celebrates the 2nd anniversary of marriage. The name garnet comes from the Latin word Garanatus, meaning seed-like, in reference to a pomegranate. This reference makes sense as small garnets look like the bright red seeds you find inside in a pomegranate.

It is a stone of prosperity and abundance, encouraging gratitude and service to others. It is associated with the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras, awakening creative energies and lending power to one’s will.
